Lakeside Linens Coral Linen on Sale

Lakeside Linens has discontinued Coral linen from their color list and we've got what was left of it. If you're looking for something that's not-quite pink, this is a great color. Definitely Coral but it doesn't scream at you!

Discount is based on the cut purchased - you get a better discount if you take the full Stitcher's Half cut vs. a Stitcher's Quarter. Price is regularly $114 to $124 a yard. It's time for the 2012 "Egg"cellent Anniversay Sale!

The shop celebrates its 14th Anniversary on Tuesday March 27th so it's time for our annual "Egg"cellent Anniversary sale. The sale will be March 27th through April 1st (our open Sunday in April). We put discounts in plastic Easter Eggs and you pick an egg when you check out at the shop. Inside will be your discount - from 15% to 30% off most regular merchandise (fabric, threads, charts, notions, canvases & accessories). Books, magazines, floor stands and lamps will be 10% off. The sale is limited to in-stock items only and excludes items already on hold, previously marked down, Rosewood Manor Trunkshow, stitched pendants, classes and finishing.

Mail/phone order customers with orders placed between March 27th and April 1st who mention the Anniversary sale will have an "Egg"cellent egg pulled for them and that will be the discount for appropriate items from that order. The discount will be applied when we ship the order so it will not show up in your shopping cart. If you've ever been in the store you'll know that only a fraction of our inventory is listed on our website. We are not able to do stock checks during the sale so if you're shopping via phone or the web and don't see something you're looking for, just let us know what it is and if we have it, we'll include it in your order.

Can You Hear Me? Sale

Last year we had fun with our Keep Us Warm sale to help pay for the new heating system after our move to this location. This year our 12 year old phone system is likely to need replacing. Seems like a sign for another fun January sale.

You don't need a coupon but you do need to mention the Can You Hear Me? sale to get the discount on your next project's supplies. Get 25% off fabric, threads, kits, charts, canvases and embellishments (e.g. beads, charms, buttons) through the end of January. As is usual for our sales this is for in-stock items only.

There is no limit on the number of times you can purchase included items between now and January 31st, but you do need to mention the Can You Hear Me? sale to get your discount. So get shopping!

Update: If you are ordering through our online catalog, just mention the sale in the Special Instructions. The catalog won't be able to do any sale calculations. If you stop in, order by phone or via e-mail, also just mention the sale.

Paternayan wool on sale!

After giving the manufacturer more than a year to fix their supply problems we have given up waiting. Effective immediately all of our Paternayan wool is on sale - limited to stock on hand. The online catalog has been updated to reflect what we have for colors in 8yd (Reg. $1.00/Sale $.80), 20yd (Reg $2.50/Sale $1.90) and 1/4lb Hanks (Reg $14/Sale $10).

We are evaulating other wools at the present time. We're not thrilled with the other 3-ply wools on the market but we are considering stocking the skeins of Appleton Tapestry Wool (we stock the crewel weight) and more of the lovely Merino wool, Bellalusso. We will start special ordering Au ver a Soie's Fine d'Aubusson wool, which is similar in weight to DMC Medici and works wonderfuly for crewel.

While none of these is a direct replacement for Paternayan they do offer some nice colors and texture if you love stitching with wool.

Updated 9/2/11 - the sale will continue until 9/5 at which time we'll either be putting what we have left in grab bags or it's going to other shops. So get what you need now!

Summer Sidewalk Sale is Saturday!

Weekly Special - Sale Charts

We're reorganizing our cross-stitch charts and finding some we're putting on sale. For the next few weeks we'll be posting a list each week of a set of charts on sale that week. Artisan Design Accessories on Sale

We found out today that Artisan Design is no longer selling to retail stores, so we will be unable to order any further products from them. We are clearing out our inventory of the scroll-rod accessories and they are on sale for 30% off.

We do have one Elan left in stock - not on sale - but if you've been thinking about getting one, now is the time. We have no Ergo or Gazelles in stock - ordering them was how we found out we can no longer order from this vendor.
