Jackie will be joining us the weekend of October 24-26, 2014 for three great classes. We're really pleased to be able to offer The Fair Maiden Workbag, which Jackie taught at Christmas in Williamsburg 2013. In addition to this 1.5 day class (Saturday afternoon & all-day Sunday) Jackie is creating two new projects we'll be debuting.
Friday night (Oct 24th) will be the first in a series Jackie is designing for us we're calling Finely Finished Folio. It will be a small stitching and finishing technique project and we'll have photos when Jackie is done with this first Folio design. This class will be open to all, even if you are not able to attend in person. Over the 12 months after the October class Jackie will create 5 more Folio projects, each with a different stitching and finishing technique. You can sign up for the Folio class, the entire series or as each is released. This first project will be the only one Jackie is teaching in person and the rest will be available to all as they are released. We'll have a Finely Finished Folio Yahoo group set up that Jackie will be part of to keep everyone stitching on them. Class will be $95. Subsuquent Folio project pricing will be available soon.
Saturday morning (Oct 25th) Jackie will be teaching a special design she's creating for us with a San Francisco theme. We'll post photos when Jackie is done with the design. This class will require attendance in person - we will not be able to send kits to those that do not come to the class. Class will be $185.
The Fair Maiden Workbag is real treasure with so many sections it's like a little treasure trove of compartments. Other than at Christmas in Williamsburg 2013, Jackie has not taught this project so we're tickled to be first up with it. Class will be Saturday afternoon (Oct 25th) and all-day Sunday (Oct 26th). There will be a small amount of pre-stitching to do for class, but something that should only take a few evenings. Fair Maiden Workbag requires attendance in person - we will not be able to send kits to those that do not come to the class. Class will be $345.
Class sign-up forms will be available in the next day or so and you will be able to pay a deposit to reserve your spot in any or all of the classes. We did have to move the date from our earlier October dates due to a conflict with another event we had committed to but dates had not been set for. We appreciate that no class date is ever conflict free with other events and we hope you'll be able to attend.
